Julia Barretto surprises boyfriend Gerald Anderson after she revealed that she wants to have a family by next year.

In a newly uploaded vlog on Gerald’s Youtube channel, he invited his girlfriend to be his special guest as she tries out several Filipino food.

And while eating, the two ask each other several questions about their relationship.

Gerald ask Julia about her plans in 5 to 10 years from now, and Julia directly answered, “Family.”

Then the actor asked, “Saan dun? Sa five or sa ten-year [plan]?”

Without hesitation, Julia replied, “Next year.”

Gerald was visibly caught of guard of the moment, which made the actress laugh.

Julia then added,, “Dun ako sa five. Dun ako sa five.”

She also said that she is willing to leave showbiz anytime to focus on her family and live a much more simpler life.

“I always dream of living a simple, quiet life family life.”

But Julia clarified that she will always be grateful for having the chance at being an actress.

“Because I feel like at an early age, I was already exposed to this life. Because I grew up, and my aunts would take me to their work, my dad, and my mom.

“So it was kind of the only life I knew so I felt like that’s where I was gonna end up now.

“But in the future a simple quiet life is what I dream.”

In a separate interview, the 24 year old star professed her dream of becoming a “boss wife.”

“I dream to become a housewife, but a housewife that’s like a boss-housewife.

“Like, you got your own work going on, but your number one priority is [kids and family].”
