Erwan Heussaff, may ibinunyag tungkol kay Anne Curtis at sa pagiging mommy sa anak nilang si Dahlia

Erwan Heussaf finally talks about his experience being a first time parent and his thoughts about his wife, Anne Curtis as a mom to baby Dahlia.

Erwan and Anne welcomed their 4 month old baby in a time of pandemic, something any parent wouldn’t dream off for their child’s environment.

According to him, if there is something that bugs him every night, that would be his eagerness of protecting Anne and their kid.

“Fear. Everyone kind of talks about the beauty of parenting and it’s amazing. You access a part of yourself that you never thought was there.” he said.

Added Erwan, having Dahlia made him feel a different type of love. Something more larger that what he felt towards anyone, even for his own family.

 

“Like the type of love, it’s weird because it’s a mix of the need to protect someone, the need to take care of someone, the fear, so much happiness. I think what no one tells you about it is the amount of fear that is attached to it. When your baby is kind of like sleeping on her stomach, is she breathing? Is she okay?” he admitted.

When asked about Anne, Erwan was obviously beyond proud of her wife’s passion.

“For moms, it’s immediate. Like that connection is forged from day one. For dads, it takes a couple of days kind of looking at your child and like how did this third person just come out whereas for women it’s just automatic and just how motherly the instinct is incredible.” He confessed.

Added Erwan, “Like I still at times when I’m looking at Dahlia and holding her and it’s like how do I comfort her or is she happy or anything. Give it to the mom and it’s like magic.

“So that for me has been amazing to see, kind of how she’s embraced that role. And I’m so impressed by it. I’m catching up by reading books and educating myself. Obviously she’s educating herself too. But most of it is ingrained and I think that’s amazing,”
